Thinking Of You | Panasonic

Oh my goshhhhhh *takes a deep breath* I'm ACTUALLY collaborating with Panasonic. One of my FAVOURITE brands in the world. I'm trying to act all super cool and laid back about it but...NOPE. I'm bloody ecstatic.

I adore Panasonic because they have such a wide range of amazing cameras. I'm looking to upgrade my camera soon and I have my eyes on the 4K Compact System Camera Panasonic. Ugh. Just look how much of a beauty it is. (and super handy as it would fit in my handbag! PERFECT for vlogging and taking those out-and-about blogging snaps)

Considering my blog name, I should be top notch at writing about cameras. Oh, and my...*cough*...y'know, DEGREE in photography should help too.

I do actually miss University. We actually took part in some really cool projects, so working with Panasonic has given me the opportunity to rekindle my passion with Photography and dive head first into creating some content for my blog that I wouldn't normally. I've decided to create a mini project for you all, called "Thinking Of You."

This is where I will be discovering old photos of my Mum, and sharing them online, alongside some of my own poetry or quotes. Since my Mum died when I was younger, I have always striven to be like her. She was always such an inspiration to me so sharing this project with you on my blog is, well, super special and quite personal. (So please be nice haha.)

Anyway, without further ado...Here's "Thinking Of You."

Thinking Of You

The Birds will still sing, the breeze still whispers too,
but my heart and this world will be lost without you.

She looked at him with eyes that could pierce his soul.

Cancer will demand pain to be felt

But

She breathed in the life she was preciously dealt

Even the most fragile sail boats will break through the waves.

The healthy glow in her cheeks gave her an aura of innocence.

She became distracted, oblivious to the passage of time.

And soon, too soon, it will hit me with pain,
Knowing goodbye means I won't see you again

Always, Thinking Of You x

Creating this mini project was such a lovely thing to do for me, and I have Panasonic to thank for that!  I hope you like the photos that I shared with you, because I certainly liked rummaging through my old memory boxes! These photographs mean so much to me, and I'm sure everybody else has that one special photo that means the world to them. That's what I love about cameras and Photography...they capture such amazing moments that can stay with us forever.

Have you got your eyes on any cameras at the moment? Has this post inspired you to create your OWN little project? Or even just go through your family's old scrapbooks?
Let me know in the comments!
